I was a person with low self-esteem and very low self-confidence and it took me a great deal of strength to accept I need counselling, a month down the line to actually do it.
I approached Ms.Abidha feeling really nervous and vulnerable but her sessions were engaging, encouraging and appropriate. It pushed me to be a better version of my current self though very slowly. But that push is what I needed, she made me realize that.
I have started doing the things that I like at my own pace.

I was referred to Abidha about 2 months ago and in such a short space of time, I’ve made great progress (which she always reminds me of when I lose sight of it).
Abidha is attentive, kind, and highly knowledgeable about her work.
She always gives me the opportunity to address what I want to talk about in any given session and similarly, offers calibrated prompts when I’m not sure what I want to talk about.
A lot of the work I’ve been doing has been on my inner critic and how trauma affected my body. In 4 years on and off with therapy I never acknowledged how it may be impacting my body until this was addressed with Abidha. This has been a game changer for me.

01 How do I know if I need therapy?
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck or struggling to manage your thoughts or emotions, therapy can help. You don’t need to wait until things feel “serious” to reach out early can make a big difference.
02 What if I don’t feel comfortable with my therapist?
It’s completely okay, the therapeutic relationship is important. If you feel the connection isn’t right, you can request to switch therapists. We’ll help you find someone who feels like the right fit.
03 What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help?
That’s okay, every therapeutic experience is different. Sometimes it takes finding the right therapist or approach that fits your needs and comfort. We encourage you to share your past experiences so we can create a space that feels safe and supportive for you this time.
